Art Scramble: TXHCA has an art sale every other year which we call The Art Scramble. It's is a fun time to buy art, see the studio space, and meet artists.

Third Tuesday Talk
Our series of monthly talks on Third Tuesdays is becoming Art in Our Lives. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR THE FULL SCHEDULE OF TALKS, COMING SOON.
Art is Our Lives is intended to explore ideas and concepts that permeate the visual arts with the belief that the arts are the furthest extension of freedom of expression and that the arts have a role of primacy in the quest for nurturing human life and civility. This series of 12 talks will be presented by leading artists, architects, curators, designers, and scholars. The talks will take place in our Water Street studios and in other cultural venues in our community. All talks will be recorded and presented on our website and YouTube channels.
Art in Our Lives is supported in part by funding from the Texas Commission on the Arts and by the Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art.
