Classes at the Atelier
Our classes are designed with a mentorship-style option for students who wish to gain mastery in painting and drawing, much like the Core Atelier Program. You may enroll in classes individually or continue in a series, depending on your goals. You do not have to be enrolled in the Core Atelier program to take our classes.
Landscape Painting with Roger Parsons
Texas Hill Country Atelier is proud offer a Landscape Painting Program with Roger Parsons. Roger is an internationally awarded artist who brings us his extensive experience and passion for painting landscapes across the American Southwest. He shares his knowledge gained from studying with masters like Arturo Chavez, Dan Mieduch and others. Roger’s work is known for capturing the feeling of awe one gets when present in the actual landscape. See some of Roger's work in the Faculty Gallery.
Dynamic Composition with Rebecca Burritt
Texas Hill Country Atelier is lucky to have deeply knowledgable artist Rebecca Burritt teaching! Dynamic Composition is the underlying armature for compositional design of all great works of art. We offer Composition classes focused on subjects such as Still Life and Botanical Drawing. Rebecca Burritt studied extensively with and became assistant to Myron Barnstone.
