Drawing with Graphite and Charcoal
 
Were you ever told not to mix graphite and charcoal? Many of us were told it was verboten. Let's break the rules! Learn how these two mediums can work together to get rich darks and delicate lights, with a full range of values in between.

In this workshop, we will work from the model for two consecutive mornings. You will have time and guidance to develop a full dynamic range of values in a large drawing. We'll also share drawing lessons of the Atelier Tradition that are not taught in colleges and universities.
